Subject: Effectiveness of Social Media Marketing
This report examines social media and how companies chose certain social networking sites as their choice for marketing. There are benefits and drawbacks to any situation, and this report will examine what the main pros and cons are for company’s to invest in social media marketing. There are various factors that lead to why certain sites are better for certain companies, and this report will go in-depth about how age group plays a major role in determining which sites are best for which age groups. This report will also look at two specific social networking sites, Facebook and Twitter, and show how each of those sites can be used by companies, to further a company’s marketing.
The research in the report offers various statistics on social media, and how social media is effective to certain groups of people. This report examines two social media sites, Facebook and Twitter, but does not mention any other sites. This does not mean that sites other than Facebook and Twitter are pointless, but just implies that Facebook and Twitter are the most popular social networks. Using all the information in this report, a solid basis for which type of social media a company should use, to further the company’s marketing, can be created.
