Les Miserables

In the ages of war, in the history of France, life is tragic and miserable. . Narrating the story of an ex-convict Jean Valjean, changing his way of living, saving the little girl Cosette from the hands of devilish innkeepers, the Thenardier Couples. He take cares of Cosette like a princess and loved her like his daughter. A novel written by Victor Hugo adapted and translated into many variations; operas, films, television and musicals that really touches our hearts and souls.

Beckoning us to listen to its cries and songs of harmony; drawing us deepest in our hearts; reminiscing the pasts of people whose cries go unheard; the poorest of the nation that shouts for freedom and equality. Their stories of agony of the impoverished people fighting against the unjust treatment of the wealthy authorities of France. Its dramatic scenes of rebellion charging the rages of commoners asking for justice and humane society. Telling us that we people should always help each other, to reach out for people who are in need; that in order reach our goals we must have unity and cooperation; standing us one, defeating the circumstances of the impossibility. That there’ll always be hope despite of the situations we’re having.

After I watched the film, I learned that love we’ll always give us heaven and happiness. Near the fact that in the middle of our sorrows, we must keep in mind that there are persons that will always make us happy and comfortable. They’ll cheer our spirits up and raise all the tears we have in our eyes in the exchange of joys and glory. I also learned that mercy must be always in our hearts. Every each of us surely commit mistakes and sins to God and to the person whom they hurt, but we must always remember that people has their chances to change and be forgiven no matter how little or worse the sins that they made. In the eyes of our Lord, we’re all the same.
