1) A resume is a brief account of your qualifications and experiences. Also, resume is the first step towards applying a job; it gives you a chance for the interview. In my view, a resume should show how my abilities meet the needs of an audience. I must write the best fits resumes to communicate with audiences. The first assignment taught me that a good resume should begin with constructing concise bullet points. The most difficult part in writing my resume is that the whole page looks unprofessional. I did not know how to use the correct format. I still remember my first draft; the layout of on the page is sloppy and disjointed. After I read out some professional and successful resume outlines, I revised the layout, the arrangement, the words, and the working experience of my resume. I think writing a good resume for job searches and application is very important for me in the future. I had mastered some skills to write a resume.
2) Writing a negative message is a difficult assignment, because I have to worry about audience’s attitude. This assignment improves my writing skills and I learn more about the correspondence skills. Before I wrote a negative message, I applied the three-step writing process, which was the most important skill to master and helps ensure that the negative messages are both effective (meeting your audience’s needs and getting your points across) and efficient. In addition, I used indirect approach for negative messages, because it can ease the blow and help readers accept the situation. Word choice, tone and style are three important factors that determine the overall value of this negative message. I learned that a negative message cannot use negative Phrasings, such as dissatisfied, unhappy, and wrong, don’t, etc. Moreover, if I need to write a negative message to an audience, I should respect the audiences and avoid using an accusing...
