The Group operates under the brands Alitalia, with a wide range of premium services on domestic routes, international and intercontinental, and Air One, which specializes in offering low-cost quality of national and international destinations.

Alitalia is a private group, with a shareholding composed of 75% by prominent members of the business landscape and the Italian financial and 25% by Air France-KLM, the first European airline/

The Company is a partner of the SkyTeam alliance and is part of the first joint venture in the global airline industry, along with Delta, Air France and KLM, operating on transatlantic routes.

Alitalia is distinguished by the quality of the service, assisting passengers, maintenance and training of its staff. In Europe is among the most punctual companies and among those with the most modern fleet of aircraft, fully renovated in the last 4 years through an ambitious investment plan.

The hub of Alitalia is the airport Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino hub which is also in Southern Europe of the SkyTeam alliance. The Company also has bases at the airports of Linate, Malpensa, Venice, Turin, Naples and Catania.

Air One operates from bases Malpensa, Venice, Pisa and Catania.

Alitalia transported more than 24 million in 2012 and 275 thousand passengers and offers, in summer 2013, a network of 101 destinations.

Alitalia also operates in the transportation of freight and mail by using the holds of their aircraft through an organizational unit dedicated to Cargo.

By offering a broad product portfolio, Alitalia is able to identify the most suitable solution to the transportation needs of its customers and is able to satisfy the specific needs through the preparation of cargo charter flights.
