Elizabeth Sosi
Campus Recruiter at Ernst & Young
Ernst & Young
5 Times Square
New York, NY 10036
Dear Mrs. Sosi,
I am writing to apply for the summer Internal Audit Internship position that is posted in the School of Management at Boston University. I am a junior concentrating in accounting in the School of Management within Boston University and will be graduating in the spring of 2015.
As I researched the specific position and your company, I realized I have many qualities that could bring value to the company. I have completed an internship in the office of Shanti Kalathi’s Certified Public Accountant. I have developed the skills to adapt to a certain environment quickly and, by being a fast learner, to complete a task in a timely and efficient manner. I have had leadership positions in my sorority, Delta Phi Omega, for the past two years. Being on the Executive Board in the organization has allowed me to be able to make decisions with a group of people who have different opinions. Compromise makes things be decided in a timely manner.
Working at Ernst & Young would fulfill a life time goal that I have had since I was a little girl. Being the daughter of a businessman, I learned to always go for what I want and set goals that I, at some point in life, could fulfill. I had the pleasure to meet with some of the recruiters from your company during the Fall campus career fair. I would love to work in Ernst & Young because of the dynamic between the people and variety of clients that it serves.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my application and I look forward to hearing back to discuss this opportunity with you further.
Sincerely,
Kruti Shah
