Artifacts

Even the way a room is furnished exerts influence on us. In a classic study, researchers attempted to determine if the aesthetic conditions of a room would influence the judgments people made in it (Maslow & Mintz, 1956; Mintz, 1956) (DeVito, 2009). The way you decorate your private spaces communicates something about who you are (DeVito, 2009). Recently I was invited to a wedding consultation of a photographer here in Florida name Carrie Wildes she is a one of my friends associates. We arrived a few minutes early so we were able to set up when looking around are house is artsy are decorations were beautiful it gave a feel of who she is as a photographer just creative. Carrie house was decorated with lots of pictures of her and her family she just recently adopted a baby girl she was included in the pictures to me it says that she is family orientated. Carrie had two rooms that she decorated for her office there were pictures of past weddings that she did also a T.V. for just displaying her web site. I believe when future clients come in to a consultation will get a great feel of her work. My perception was positive I could see that she adores her family and her career, also that she likes to have fun and express herself with using décor.

When visiting my house an artifact that I display is our wedding gifts that we received for our wedding Photographs and albums are common artifacts. We have a lot of pictures around and for us we spend time reminiscing with our albums. Throughout our home we have a photo us when we were on our first date my husband and I it is one of our important occasions taken together. Indirectly validated my husband and I as an official unit and were displayed to strengthen the stability of the relationship....
