Begin with the end in mind.

In every beginning, it is vital that we believe we can make it up to the end. Otherwise, there is no point in starting anything. Knowing your priorities and knowing its purpose will give you the success that you want. For instance, if one takes up BS Architecture, it is but important for him to believe that he will be an Architect someday. If not, why take up Architecture in the first place? In every simple or complicated task, a subject, a career, or even a relationship, one should first believe in its possibility. Knowing that you can and knowing that you will. For as one famous person once said, “no one goes to a battle with losing in mind.”

People often stick to what they know and what they want to think. I guess this thinking attributes on how we see things in our own little point of view, on our somewhat distorted perspective. We have the tendency to look at things only in the way we want to look at it without any effort to look beyond what we see which might help us understand the people and the things that happen around us. In a “bird’s eye view”, you see the possibilities that normally you don’t believe in or you simply doubt on. If only you could fly and see where the road you are taking is leading to, you would then learn to appreciate whatever comes in your way because these obstacles would then show you how essential it is to the success you are aiming for. So take life and everything that comes with it. Perfectly picture dreams and ideas in your minds because this “picture” provides a vision of the outcomes you want. And to realize this vision, you work your way through it, meeting every need and requirement, trying all the possibilities, giving all efforts to make the vision come true. Only because you have that vision, that idea, those imaginations of what you want are you able to use your hands and tools to make your dream a reality.
