To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing to express my interest in working for Denso as a specialist intern in Southfield, Michigan. I am in process of finishing my bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan, Dearborn and have completed 113 credits as a successful business student. In addition, I have been very involved with on campus student organizations including the Supply Chain Association (SCA). In an effort to help SCA grow, I took upon the position of recruitment chair and successfully recruited 15 new members who are now active within the organization. As a student in the business program at UMD, I have had a wide range of experiences working with young adults and have developed strong interpersonal communication skills that have allowed me to grow as a leader. From past work experiences, I have been able to strengthen these skills substantially and continue to gain awareness, skills, and motivation for knowledge as well as for personal growth. Lessons that I have learned throughout my education have taught me the importance of being not only a flexible and dedicated hard worker, but also an effective one that works well with others. I feel that these experiences have allowed me to mature as a professional developing the abilities to problem solve, multi-task, and work in fast paced environments successfully.
I would love the opportunity to communicate with Denso clients and third parties aimed towards providing the most exceptional service possible. As a business student, I understand the importance of customer service and what it takes to satisfy clientele and assist in the process in a professional, respectable manner. I believe that my experiences as a business student are directly applicable to the co-op position and that I would be a valuable asset to the department.
I am confident that the skills I have acquired as a business student directly relate to...
