Introduction

My name is XXXXX and I am the current Project Manager working for the University of Phoenix. The purpose of this Business Plan is not only to expose the setup of the current team environment but also the importance of teamwork and that team environment within the business. Within this plan, I will interview current employees and review the theory of how important a team environment is to the overall picture of a companies’ success or failure. We will explore the setup of this companies’ team structure and if workers are overall satisfied as a result of this setup. In doing this, we must understand that all employees’ opinions are that of their own and their personal experiences, but can of course compare with our past readings whether or not a successful team environment is essential and important to contribution and companies’ growth and productivity of our company.

Executive Summary

When I think of a team environment and the creation and fruition of any successful company, immediately Henry Ford’s quote comes to mind that "Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success." In a company or organization, not one company, CEO or executive officer can truly proclaim that they were able to build their company alone or even create ideas without the ideas or assistance of others within a team. All great companies start off with the individuals sharing and creating a vision to help to bring forth that understanding and agreement to others within that company to help to create a common goal that everyone believes and hopes to work together to eventually achieve for an overall and specified success. All companies are not lucky enough to have this gift but the ones that do have shown proof that it can make the difference on if that company is successful, failing and has growth and other potential for the long haul.
