Politics Hampering Educational Activities in Bangladesh

The targets of Bangladesh to achieve education for all to create our future leadership and achieve global standards in education are being much hampered due to hartals. Our students at all levels of education are not being able to attend classes regularly. Public examinations schedules are being disrupted leading to anxiety and confusion amongst the examinees. Irregular class schedules are hampering the proper educational intake of students at all educational institution at all levels of education. This scenario is also mentally affecting the students at all levels of education. Above all the disruption of examination schedules of public examinations and examinations at the educational institutions works havoc with the preparations of students for these critical examinations. The future of Bangladesh lies in our younger generation who will lead our country to the acme of socio-economic development. But if they are prevented from achieving educational and cultural accomplishments through academic and co-curricular activities, they cannot advance, attain and sustain our socio-economic targets. It is in the fitness of the demands of the time that the Prime Minister should appeal to the political parties not to undertake progarmmes that would lead to sustained disruption of educational activities of our future leaders which we are sure is not desired by any political party of whatever ilk or opinion. The education system of Bangladesh has broken down for continuous hartal declared by the opposition party and deadly violence occurring almost everywhere in the country. This week there is only one active hartal free day. For that, every exams of SSC, NU and also other exams postponed again and again during this week.
