In the 1st of August, Anny started a summer job in a recording studio. The job lasted for a month, from the 1stof August to the 31st of August. Her position was called The Junior Project Assistant who’s under the senior staffs to produce series of sound projects.
It was a great challenge for Anny to do well since this job did not highly related to Journalism. At the same time, she had just learned some basic recording and sound mixing skills from the Broadcast Journalism course in Year 2 and 3.
As everyone was busy on met the deadline of a sound project, Anny got nothing to do in the first day of summer job. “Let’s make a visit on our studio, or wherever you like.” said Jenny Wong, one of the senior staffs.
Since no one got free to pay attention to Anny, she felt bored to sit in office and went to visit the studio. The recording studio unlike the newsroom in Anny’s college, it just a small room but full of professional recording equipments. For example the sounds panel and microphones.
Anny was excited to saw these. She knew the things in front of her could be the great experience in her life. Also, she could learn some new knowledge that the college course did not teach.
In 4th August 2009, a Tuesday night around 7 pm, Anny back home from the studio, she found there was a letter on her desk. “It is from Japan,” said Anny’s mother. “It maybe sent by your host family.” Yes, it is. Anny had received a letter from her Japanese host family, whose took care her daily life while she was in Hokkaido last summer. “I miss them so much!” Anny scrammed. This letter also woke her memories up.
Looking back on Anny’s memories, Anny was so excited when she arrived in Japan last year. As she got a chance to go to Japan and live with Japanese, it made her dream came true. It was a chance for her to improve her Japanese. She could also learn more on Japanese culture such as people’s daily life and habits.
