Regulatory Factor- Certain regulatory factors are in affect for new and current restaurant owners and operators. Among these are Health department issues that are sanitary conditions and concerns. Many requirements are common sense, such as clean restrooms and food preparation are to be sanitized daily and at time constantly depending on operations. One very important requirement is that at least one employee must be certified in food handling and food safety. Certifications are handled by state approved agencies such as ServeSafe and The National Registry of Food Safety Professionals.
