The interview with the Restaurant Manager, Madam Siti Hadijah.

Syahida: Hello Madam Siti. First of all I would like to ask your position in this Marrybrown restaurant?

Madam Siti: Restaurant Manager.

Syahida: So normally, what is the range of age of the customers who come here?

Madam Siti: Most of them are children until adults around 40 years old. Most of them are family, kids with their parents.

Syahida: How about students?

Madam Siti: There are many of them as well but most of the customers are kids, with their parents.

Syahida: Okay, so most of them are family. So usually, how many servings do you serve in an order? I mean how many people do you serve per order?

Madam Siti: In Marrybrown, we have set menu and family menu. So basically if they want to eat individually, they will order the set menu. Whereas if the whole family come together, they will usually order the family set. We will normally offer add-ons as side order of their meals.

Syahida: According to the menu, there are a variety of western food and local food. So usually which one do the customers prefer?

Madam Siti: Marrybrown is well known for its fried chicken. SO the customers will usually order the fried chicken, Nasi Marrybrown, Nasi Ayam MB, porridge and Curry Mee. That is why Marrybrown is different compared to other fast food restaurant like Mc Donald’s and KFC.

Syahida: Okay, since Marrybrown is open from 10.00am to 10.00pm, which time of the day do you serve customers the most?

Madam Siti: For lunch hour will be 1.00pm to 2.00pm and dinner at 8.00pm to 9.00pm. Same goes with evening, 6.00pm to 7.00pm.

Syahida: So most of the customers dine in more or take away?

Madam Siti: They prefer to dine in. For example if the sales of the day is RM1500, take away will RM200. If the sale is RM3000, take away will be RM300. Roughly around 10% of the sales only.
