Business 210 Assingment 1 Week 1

The business that I am going to write about is DSR. This company is a great landscaping company that comes to my house every two weeks. They will let me know if the grass doesn’t need it or if it does. To me these people are a lot of help when it comes to my yard work because it is less that I have to do for a great price. If it is too dry to cut the grass or if it is too wet to cut the grass they will not try to mess up your yard. They may instead of cutting your grass that week they may fix your flower bed, by picking weeds, planting bushes, or even mulch. These people know how to trim bushes and trees. To do this job you have to have common sense to be able to do the different tasks for this job and use the tools. They know how to cut straight lines and do different designs in your grass to make it look great. It is also common sense when it comes to talking to a customer. They have to make sure they know what they are talking about. For example, when they are talking to a customer about a bush and they want to know how tall the bush is going to get the workers need to know that information. For this job layouts of different yards are very important. As for the workers who work at DSR, they work together as a crew to get things done quicker. When a crew in out in the field working there is most of the time a crew leader, which is a foreman. There is also a boss who runs the whole company. In all reality you wouldn’t think that landscaping had so much different things to do, but it does.
