CHALLENGES AND PULSATIONS OF PHILIPPINE NORMAL UNIVERSITY MATHEMATICS GRADUATE STUDENTS
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
The study explored the different challenges encountered by the Mathematics graduate students during the completion period of their master’s degree program. Furthermore, the study established the socio – demographic profile and pulsations of the Mathematics graduate students.
Specifically, the study attempted to:
1. Establish the Socio - Demographic Profile of the respondents, in terms of:
a. Gender
b. Age
c. Length of Stay in the Graduate School
d. Civil Status
e. Nature of Work
i. Type of Educational Institution or Working Place
ii. Length of Working or Teaching Experience
f. Distance of Residence from the Philippine Normal University
2. Determine if the following attributes significantly affect the challenges encountered by the Mathematics graduate students:
g. Personal Attributes

iv. Civil Status
v. Nature of Work
vi. Distance of Residence from the Graduate School
h. Psychological Attributes
