If doing and in-house photography session you are going to need to bring the equipment with you. One of the main things that any photographer is going to need is a camera preferably a SLR (single lens reflex), these cameras are digital and will allow the user to see the photos in real time and most times catch any imperfections. These types of cameras will also allow the user to use different lenses such as the zoom or telephoto which are the most used in an in house session. The photographer is also going to need to bring artificial lighting with them so that they have the correct lighting environment for the photo shoot, without the correct lighting the photos run the risk of being either to dark or to bright, artificial lighting will help get the photo perfect for the photographer. Making sure that the correct flash is brought as well as any backgrounds if needed are brought as well since this will also help get the correct and desired effect from the photo.

The photographer should also have a photo editing program which when using a digital camera the program will allow the photographer to manipulate the photo as needed such as if there is red eye they can remove that or if any enhancement such as blurs or effects are needed, sometimes customers may like things like borders or seasonal effects inserted to their photos to mark special occasions, having the photo editing will help give the customers what they want. One of the important things needed is going to also be a tripod to allow the photographer to take a photo while the camera is absolutely still which also allows the photographer to move around until time to take the photo which at that time a remote that allows the photo to be taken will come in handy in an in-house session.
