Case Study

In a world full of different people, challenges, business ventures, political conflicts, technological breakthroughs and new discoveries, leaders are a necessity. In fact they have existed since the beginning of time and the world can not function without them. Without leaders people would not be very productive. They would be lost and the world would be in chaos.

There are a lot of leaders in this world and they can be found in many areas in life such as; medicine, literature, education, art, politics, business and many other different fields. This book report will shed some light on the life of a great leader who was and still is talked about by many people all over the world. This leader is a woman who has ruled England during the 19th century. She was the longest reigning monarch in English Scottish and British history. The leader is Alexandrina Victoria, Queen of England.

This report will discuss her life and background and how they affected her as a leader. It will look at the leadership styles demonstrated in her life. The book chosen for this report is “Queen Victoria: Scenes and Incidents of her Life and Reign” written by T. Frederick Ball.

T. Frederick Ball is a man of the Victorian era. He was born in the 19th century. In addition to “Queen Victoria: Scenes and Incidents of her Life and Reign”, he wrote poetry. He is not a well-known writer and thus no one seems to have written anything about him. Through reading this book one could see that the author had great admiration and respect for Queen Victoria. He wrote this book in the 1880’s and it was first published in 1886.
