Abstract
The purpose this paper is an analysis of management and leadership skills. A quantitative survey was compiled to evaluate perspectives on the interface between the two components commonly observed in a business setting. Also analyzing the perspectives of both external (superior) management and leadership skills and internal (personal) management and leadership skills and the relationships between them, as well as including demographic statistics, the conclusion of a true relationship can be determined. The results provide an insight to the nature and relationship, often, dependence between the two dexterities needed in business. It shows that people view themselves as excellent leaders and managers, and prefer to work for proficient managers that they do not view as leaders.

Introduction
The relationship between management skills and leadership skills tend to inappropriately reciprocated offering confusion of the true characterization of each component. Examining both skill sets will offer the capacities to differentiate each other and promote independent opportunities to evaluate both the leaders at the workplace.
