EMC Corporation used the research method of surveying to determine how effective the new workplace strategy is. The survey was distributed to the employees and contractors in initial NGO sites. The survey’s focus is employee satisfaction and workplace strategy and consists of thirty-nine questions. The entire EMC Corporation workforce participated in taking the survey. Sampling Methods and Sample Population

EMC Corporation will use the research method of surveying to determine how effective the new workplace strategy is, work areas, and services provided. The population of workers participating in the survey is the entire population of each new facility. The survey was distributed to the employees and contractors in initial NGO sites - McLean, New York, Richmond, Santa Fe, and San Juan. Therefore, the sample to conduct the survey was heavily researched. Staff members taking the survey will differ in age, race, gender, education attainment, and economic status. Demographic statistics from past research experiments also can be as a basis in identifying the sample. Sample population includes a smaller collection of data to represent the large analyzed population. The age groups represented will reflect the different stages of life to include; 18-24 (college/graduate school), 25-34 (early career), 35-44, 45-54, and 55+. Both male and female individuals across different ethnicities are represented by the researchers within the survey.
