Time Line

In January 1994 Yahoo was founded by Jerry Yang and David Filo and was referred to as “Jerry and David’s Guide to the World Wide Web”. Which was used to search directories of other websites of all topics and help people get informed on any topic you can think of and it also helps businesses to be advertised worldwide. It’s amazing just what you will find on yahoo search. They also have games, email, daily news, weather and just about anything. It keeps the people informed of worldwide current events.

In 1994 Amazon was founded by Jeff Besos in his garage in Bellevue, Washington and because Nick Hanauer believed in Jeff’s idea and invested $40,000 into his company they come out with Amazon a place where you could buy books. It started out just plain and very unattractive but then a man named Tom Alburg invested $100,000 in the Amazon Corp in 1995 which made them capable to expand and introduce more items than just books and now you can purchase just about anything and everything off the website, Items such as books, toys, electronics, computer software to home improvement items. Because the company grew at such a speedy rate people were thinking that it was going to fail but they were wrong. This company also allows people

to purchase things at discounted prices and also people can get on and sell things in which they don’t need or want anymore and you don’t even have to leave your house.
