1. The leaders must have values/key beliefs because:

• Helps in building trust and confidence: The organization which follows strong set of values and key beliefs will give leaders confidence of letting of the authority and power.

• Promote accountability: The strong values help in building clear boundaries which in turn which helps employees the authority to act.

• Provides assistance during crises: The strong key beliefs act as a moral compass and helps in providing right directions in complex challenging world.

• Competitive advantage is created: The leaders who follow clearly defined beliefs and values helps in building authenticity and sincerity in the organization.

2. Humility helps keeping life in perspective, especially when people experience success in their career. It helps in valuing people whom you come across and encourages leader to treat everyone respectfully. It is an important value because it helps in personal growth. It helps leaders in understanding their fallibility. It is a great way of having self control as it points out the limitations and weakness inside us. It guides the leader that it is not possible to control others even for their good.
