Introduction

The Endless desire of Mankind to make life more convenient and easier start from the

point where basic arithmetic operations were used and then improved and

now can perform multiple tasks that can be computed at the same time.

Inventory System is a widely used system that originates for the purpose of making the

tracking of the inventory supplies of a company and evolves to a computerized

system nowadays. It functions as the systematical tool to record orders, supplies, etc.

and lessening the work cost at the same time, that’s why its often called a cheap system yet a very functional one.

Background of the Study

The Malabon City Hall starts as a Municipality but due to the reorganization in 2003, the

Malabon had officially become a City. There are 5 aspects in which the Community

needs to satisfy at least three to become a City and the Malabon met them.

Due to the Reorganization, The Malabon City hall Established a New Division in the

Formed of Management Information System Division (MISD) Department.

Its Primary purposed is to connect and manage the database for all the department

because at the time when the MISD was not formed yet, Information Sending and

Receiving is the primary problem. That’s why the MISD utilizes the data and then sends

It to each Department in Order.

The problems they commonly encounter is that their manual inventory system lacks

The ability to update immediately and is very time consuming because of the progress

Of the processing and retrieving of data takes much time, also it’s ability to share the

Data is affected because they need to personally ask for the specific information to their

Co-workers that will waste Everybody’s time.

The proposed system will be capable of making a search and also links all the

Databases into one. Editing, Adding inventory items will be easier and faster than

the manual system because the system will use a user-friendly interface that will allows...
