I. Abstract

A. Purpose

The purpose of our project “Virtual Vernier Calliper” is to measure inner, outer diameter and the depth of an object without the presence of the real vernier caliper with the use of your own computer.

B. Procedure used

To make our project “Virtual Vernier Calliper” possible, we research on how to use a vernier calliper and our professor taught us well. We search images in web as a reference and use our programming skills on using Visual Basic Studio in our Programming 3.

C. Result

The result of this project is we emulate a calliper on a monitor you just put your object on the monitor of the computer then measure it, and the advantage of it is you don’t need to solve the exact measurement when the main scale is not a line at the secondary scale of the Vernier calliper.

D. Conclusion

I therefore conclude that this project “Virtual Vernier Calliper” will help us...
