INTRODUCTION
Organizations will encounter a variety of ethical factors, but the way organizations handle ethical factors will determine the success of the company. Ethics is more complex than just financial reporting and disclosure (Mello, 2006). Throughout this paper ethical factors are determine and ways to improve these factors are analyzed. Diversity is also examined and ways to improve diversity within a company is analyzed.
ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS
The first ethical factor for organizations divisions to consider is the proposal to cut division c from the organization, and the second ethical aspect to consider is pre-determining factors seen for intended performance reviews. These two ethical factors are important to the HRM planning strategies because they have a large influence on the outcome of employees. Cutting division c will have a large impact on employees and approximately 300 workers will lose their jobs. The organization definitely should not cut workers jobs because the company is efficient enough to compensate employees and also exists in the current strategic plan.
The second ethical factor for the organization is that specific employees are required to completed guidelines that are an impossible to complete. This practice is unethical and management must implement assessments to determine employee’s strengths and weaknesses and align him or her with these employees. Performance evaluation and assessments provide explanation to the organization and assist these employees with performance development.
REASONS FOR ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS
Performance evaluations and assessments are in place because the organizations has a responsibility to their stakeholders and are responsible for cutting three hundred jobs from division c. Within regard to cutting three...
