 I am an undergraduate student major in Finance and minor in Economics from the Michgan State University (degree anticipated Dec. 2011). I am writing in response to the position of Summer Intern in the Summer Associate Program posted on yingjiesheng.com. I feel that my experiences in both my former internship and education at PSU have given me the skills to make a valuable contribution to a future employer. I have taken courses in Financial Accounting , Corporate Finance, Introduction of Supply Chain, Introduction of Marketing, in addition to PSU’s general Finance and Economics course requirements. My excellent academic performance led me to obtain the GPA of 3.90 scaled by 4.00 and be in Dean’s List in all semesters.

I have also gained considerable experience and knowledge in financial investment as a student analyst in IT sector of MSU Investment Association since Sep. 2010. Together with 4 team members, I conducted qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate and predict the stock performance and provided recommendation to fund managers for purchase decision. This experience has taught me how to work in a highly deadline-oriented environment as well as the importance of teamwork spirit. This enhanced my quantitative skills dealing with the stock aspects and problem solving nature of the financial industry. Providing accurate reports to fund managers was one key aspect of my responsibilities. This required a great deal of accuracy and problem solving ability and constant interactions with others. In Aug. 2010, I distinguished myself to be selected to participate in the EY's summer inter Program through highly competitive aptitude test and group discussion.
