1. Facebook

Facebook is launched in February 2004 and now it's the most popular social network in the world. It has affected the social life and activity of people in various ways. With its availability on many mobile devices, Facebook allows users to continuously stay in touch with friends, relatives and other acquaintances wherever they are in the world, as long as there is access to the Internet. It can also unite people with common interests and/or beliefs through groups and other pages, and has been known to reunite lost family members and friends because of the widespread reach of its network. The site allows any users who declare themselves to be at least 13 years old to become registered users of the site. Facebook is ranked as the most used social networking service by worldwide monthly active users. 

 2. Twitter

Twitter was launched in July 2006. It is a social networking service that enables its users to send and read text-based messages of up to 140 characters, known as "tweets". Twitter is a real-time information network that connects people to the latest stories, ideas, opinions and news about what they find interesting. They can see photos, videos and conversations directly in Tweets to get the whole story at a glance, and all in one place. Twitter is the second most popular social networking site in the world. The service rapidly gained worldwide popularity, with over 500 million registered users as of 2012, generating over 340 million tweets daily and handling over 1.6 billion search queries per day.

3. LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a social networking site designed for professionals. Launched on May 5, 2003, it is mainly used for professional networking.
