Problem‐Solution Paper The Problem‐Solution Paper demonstrates your ability to identify and define a research problem from your academic field, generate possible solutions, and select and evaluate the best solution. The paper should be approximately 14 double‐spaced pages written in Times New Roman or Arial 12‐point font. You should divide the paper into sections using headings for each of the problem solving steps. The paper should be written in formal academic style, with appropriate in‐text citations of all sources used to support your problem solution thesis. Refer to the Problem Solving Process Steps (found in Course Content) to analyze your problem. Assignment Requirements: I. Title Page: An APA formatted title page including assignment title, your name, class, date, and page numbers.
II. Identify and Define the Problem: Introduce the problem based on your previous academic coursework that you have researched. Define the problem using evidence from scholarly, professional, or news sources as support. III. Generate Possible Solutions: Describe the criteria you developed to evaluate your possible solutions. Propose two or more possible solutions and explain the advantages and disadvantages of each solution, and incorporate evidence from current research to support your selections. State your problem solution thesis for the best possible solution. Thoughtfully evaluate your solution and support your position with evidence. Provide an APA‐formatted reference page for all sources used in your analysis.
