Abstract

In this paper, at least one scripture has been identified in relation to character. The scripture will show how people can still bless others without looking for anything in return because hard work has its rewards. Aristotle’s outlook on character was based on when people have to make sudden decisions without thinking. People tend to act out of character when they think no one is paying attention. In any firm, character can play an important role over a period of time. The one scripture that is related to character and to a firm that displays character will show how it can relate to Marketing Management as well. This paper will prove how character can remain intact while running a reputable business.

The definition that Aristotle describes is a voluntary decisions a person will make without thinking of the consequences behind it. People make the choices to be just or unjust either with selfish or unselfish intentions. Choices are made to do better when one knows better (Muzio, 2000, pp. 205-6). The dictionary uses character as a synonym referring character to qualities that are moral, standards that should be deemed ethical and principles that should be acted upon regardless of the situation. Firms that follow everyday norms will endure to the end. Everyday norms could result in how other people are treated and placing any self-interest to the side (Cooter, 2001, Para III, Sec. B).
