Building an Ethical Organization Part 1

My organization is for single mothers who are suffering from domestic abuse. The services that I offer include emergency shelter approval as well as legal help and counseling for all parties involved. I will also offer assistance in food and household items as well as transportation. I will offer services that provide medical attention to those who need it as well as help until the mothers can get back on their feet successfully.

My clientele is the single mothers who are struggling to get out of an abusive relationship. The mothers who cannot find a way out can come to my organization and get all the help they need, and get it immediately. Some organizations offer programs like this, but the women have to go through hoops in order to get away, and with this organization it would be different. Women will get the opportunity to start over with their children in a safe environment that will help them get everything they need until they are able to get on their feet and take care of themselves.

My organization is a non-profit organization. My focus is more on helping the community and I am concerned with money only as needed to help my organization go further so I will be able to help more. With my nonprofit organization, my goal is to not be successful financially but in helping people become more successful, and seeing that will be all the profit I will need.

The mission statement for my organization is to stop the cycle of domestic abuse in our community and help victims becomes victors and changing their lives for the better. I strongly believe my mission statement will support the ethical system because it shows whoever is looking at my organization that we are out there to help those in need.
