A Day with Eeyore

I want to tell you about the greatest day that I ever had or I had thus far in life. If you looked on The Winnie the Pooh map, I visited the South-East part of the Hundred Acre Woods known as Eeyore's Gloomy Place. Rather boggy and sad, only Eeyore lived in the thistly part of the forest. His house was an unstable small pup-tent-shaped stick house that tends to fall down often. He said, "For people who like cold, wet, ugly bits, it is something rather special.”

Although a blue-grey donkey stuffed with sawdust, Eeyore has a loving heart. One way to make this depressed donkey happy is to throw him a birthday party! Eeyore pretends not to care about things but secretly likes nothing better than to be valued by his friends. As all his friends gathered at the Piknick Spot to throw him a surprise party and used many of his favorite decorations. Eeyore’s friends loved decorating it the surprise party.

We were about to leave for the secret party, but Eeyore lost his tail and refused to go without it. He said "It's not much of a tail, but I'm kinda attached to it!" So, we searched near Owl’s, Piglet’s, Pooh Bear’s, Rabbit’s, and Kanga’s House and found nothing. Eeyore started pouting back home. As he started is journey home he looked up and saw a sand castle. Near the Sandy Pit where Roo plays, saw that Roo had used his tail to make a flag for his sand castle. After we found Eeyore’s tail, I nailed it back in its rightful place on his blue-gray body. Eeyore was so pleased that he swished and waved his tail which excitement was unusual for him. He prefers moping and staring at the ground.

After all that searching and his feeling that everyone forgot his birthday, Eeyore just wanted to go back to his Gloomy Place. I kept insisting we go to one more place one more place before we headed home, which was the Piknick Spot. As we approached the Piknick Spot, we saw a large picnic table...
