Congratulations to BATANGAS II ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, Inc. (BATELEC II) as you hold your 23rd Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) on December 7, 2013.

May this occasion continue to be a source of inspiration to everyone as you gather your Member-Consumers towards a new directions and strategies that address the sustainability and efficiency of service delivery to your franchise area.

For the year 2012, BATELEC II, classified as a MEGA LARGE electric cooperative is given an AA rating by the national award-giving body, the NATIONAL ELECTRIFICATION ADMINISTRARION (NEA). It is current in its amortization payment and power accounts payables and has energized 100% barangays of its service area coverage.

Indeed, BATELEC II shows excellent performance and continues its drive to involve member-consumers on its plans and programs in the coming years and maintain transparency and accountability.

I laud the efforts of your indomitable General Manager Engr. Octavius M. Mendoza, President Ruperto H. Manalo and Members of the Board of Directors, Employees of BATELEC II in your commitment to provide quality service and continuously update Member-Consumers on the status of operation and accomplishments for the year-ended.

Allow me to express my sincerest appreciation for the unflinching support you have given to I-CARE Party List. Fortunately, as your partner in the legislature who labored for the final enactment of Republic Act No. 10531, otherwise known as the National Electrification Administration Reform Act, the I-CARE Party List take pride in announcing that provisions for structural reforms to foster good governance in each electric cooperative have been successfully embodied into the said law. I pledge to continue to serve you by crafting more legislative measures that will benefit our sector of rural energy...
