Riordan Manufacturing is a global manufacturer employing over 500 employees still being considered a small business and having annual revenues of $46 million. The company is owned by Riordan Industries and is a Fortune 1000 company with annual return exceeding $1 billion. This is an amazing company that does many things with plastic materials such as producing beverage bottles in the Albany, GA making custom plastic parts at its plant in Pontiac, MI and custom fan parts for all type of various manufacturers at its facility in Hangzhou, China. The company’s headquarters is in San Jose, CA having the most employees and being the center point of activities in tracking company progress and business developments. Riordan Manufacturing does most of its business with automotive part industries, aircraft companies, the Department of Defense (DoD), beverage companies and appliance manufacturing. The mission of this well developed and growing company is to be Six Sigma certified on the leading edge for research and development (R&D) and exceeding ISO 9000 standards. One of the key elements that this company prides itself on is being an industry leader in identifying industry trends for R&D, and they will remain at the very top compared to other organizations. The customer relationship that is established here is very knowledgeable and productive in not being the customers problem but rather their solution and go to guy. Long term relationships are sought by implementing stringent quality controls, innovative solutions and a best business practice attitude with reasonable pricing that is comparable to competing companies but with a more traditional approach to business.
