CHAPTER 1-Introduction

In the school, in PAssi City College, there is a problem about entering the students in the school in a manual process, on how the librarian monitored it. In implementing a monitoring of entering the library, The libararian only looking if the students has a record in the attendance sheet of a libary but they cannot notice that the student didtnt log-out in the sheet.

Well now, help is at hand with the help of computerized Log-in/Log-out system using barcodes, the BSIT students proposed to Passi City College, it will monitor if the information and the image in the I.D is match to the students.

Project Context

Log-in/ Log-out using barcode reader provides an automation in loging in and loging out of students in the library.It is only applicable in the library. It’s compose of members registration and printing of new library card.

Purpose and Description of the Project

Log-in/ Log-out using barcode reader proposed to have an easy way of loging in and loging out of students in the library. It gives also an easy way to the librarian to monitor the students record.

Objectives of the Project

*It gives an easy way in loging in and out in the library

Scope and Limitations of the Project

Applicable for the system of Passi City College in a year of 2013 until it is functioning. It is applicable only in the library and only in loging in and out of the students. Borrowing and loging out of books are not included.

Significant of the Study

The significance of the study is to have an easy way of loging in and out of the students and to facilitate the reporting and monitoring in the library.
