I. Introduction

a. Background of the study

i. History

Forever Cellphone and Accessories is located at the Market! Market! Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila, it can be found at the 4th floor. It is a store that offers cellphones and cellphone accessories. It is owned by Eranio P. Infante.

Because of the store’s success, on November 30, 2013 Mr. Infante decided to open a sub branch in Tarlac City, located at City Walk Tarlac. He hired Mrs. Teresa Castro, 40, who lives at San Pablo, Tarlac City to manage the store. Mrs. Castro is the only employee of the sub branch somehow, her daughter helps her on the daily operations of the store.

ii. Current Process

When a customer order or buy something from them, Mrs. Castro does all the process of auditing, recording and keeping track of all the available stocks.

iii. Problems

The main problem of the process is that it is not organized and the store has no some kind of system, making it vulnerable to human errors. The current process is pure man-power because of the absence of a system. They can not update their inventory properly and only use paper and pen to change and add supplies. Because of that, they are prone to getting errors.

b. Objective of the Study

* To develop a software that will compute the sales and records the inventory of Forever Cellphone and Accessories.
