STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My short term goal is to improve my interpersonal skills plus soft skills require to conduct a business. After gaining basic knowledge of business whether it is finance, marketing, operations or human resource management, I want to join any one of big four consulting companies.

My mid-term goal is to be a part of senior management of top global company of that time. I want to be the one that directs the course, creates a vision and executes it. I plan to achieve that position after acquiring the necessary tools and experience required to manage a large-scale global business by completing my MBA, starting as middle level Manager and working my way up.

On gaining relevant experience and confidence and becoming financially stable, twelve years down the line, I clearly see myself starting something of my own.

I did my summer internship in Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India Ltd. My project was to control rejection of Activa due to FC/IC gap. Upon completion of my project I brought down rejection rate of Activa from 240 to 32. This exemplary performance helped me in getting placed in Schneider Electric. While I was in Schneider, I introduced method of In-Process Inspection of critical parts to improve quality and Time Study of machines in Fabrication department to improve efficiency. But established multinational companies have their own limitations and I felt that I can shoulder more responsibilities, so keeping in mind my long term goals I joined this start-up called Stirring Minds.

As per my job profile, I was interacting with new start-ups on a daily basis, witnessing problems faced by them, getting exposure to newer ideas and organizing promotional events.

My stint at this startup firmed my desire to study management in greater details. My career goals are continuation of my career so far and I would like to take on bigger responsibilities which a business administration education and degree helps me to do. I...
