Introduction

A. Tutankhamun was an Egyptian boy pharaoh of the 18th dynasty, during the period of Egyptian history known as the New Kingdom. He is popularly referred to as King Tut.He died when he was just 19 years old around 3,300 years ago. The 1922 discovery by Howard Carter and George Herbert, 5th Earl of Carnavan of King Tutankhamun’s nearly intact tomb received worIdwide press coverage. It sparked a renewed public interest in ancient Egypt,for Tutankhamun’s burial mask, now in Cairo Museum, remains the popular symbol.There are no surviving records of Tutankhamun’s final day . What caused Tutankhamun’s death has been the subject of considerable debate.
