Reasearch Procedure

This part of the research includes the procedures and ways used by the researchers in making the study and in this part had the methods of the scientific report of research. Also, the readers will see the research design, respondents, research instrument, data gathering procedure, and statistical treatment.

Research Design

In this study, the readers will see how the researchers gathered the datas needed to strengthen the results gathered from the respondents. This will also help other residents in which related environment the residents had.

In research, one very important thing is the choosing of what method is the most appropriate to be used.

The researchers used the descriptive method, wherein different ways of gathering informations and datas which will be used to answer the questions related to the topic. The appropriate way is using the survey in this study to pinpoint the current condition of the environmental awareness of the residents. This method seeks to describe a present existing condition, which in this study were the environmental awareness of the residents of the Brgy. Malanday.

Respondents

The target population consisted thousands of residents of the Brgy. Malanday. This target population was considered too big; hence, the researchers opted to involved only 75 residents in the research as respondents.

The method of choosing of respondents in this study was using sistematic random sampling wherein, the researchers had ramdomly chose a house and count three houses as a difference and made every third house as a respondent. The respondents were chosen because (1) the type of their environment is quite depressed, and (2) it is interesting to know their environmental awareness for the environment they moved was not that clean and green.
