This article supports the theory of evolution by the study of polar bears and brown bears. A gene discovered in polar bears suggest polar bears are a variation of brown bears. The polar bear’s mitochondria DNA (mtDNA) shows polar bears fall within a range of variation of brown bears. The article suggest an island of bears. Overtime their phenotypes evolved to adapt to their surroundings, changing their fur color from brown to white. This is easiest change to see, but the bears have adapted to their surroundings in many other, not so noticeable ways.

This article talks about the how turtles have evolved overtime. It talks about how turtle shells have evolved through the decades but not actually the turtles themselves. Turtle shells are one of the easiest fossils to recover because their shells are so readily preserved and they abundance of them. Scientist can conclude that turtle shells have evolved by examining the different kinds of shells such as size and structure. They believe turtles themselves have evolved from a different species, like most animals have. They think turtles were just turtles from the beginning because no matter how old a fossil they find, even a turtle fossil that dates back between 210 and 220 million years ago, is still classified as a turtle in today’s terms.

This article talks about how chimpanzees are evolving as humans do. It discusses the physical aspects of how chimpanzees develop similarly to humans. This suggesting that humans evolved from a species of chimpanzees. Scientist are advancing their ability to correlate locomotor anatomy with behavioral function in the wild with chimps. Specifically their positional behaviors when they are aging or developing. How these traits are not just habits but behaviors. These behaviors are how a young chimp will decrease...
