Kudler Fine Foods has had major growth and is now centered on expanding services and improving the competence of its operations to the consumers as a means to earning their loyalty and increasing profitability in the company.

Strategic Objectives: Kudler has resulted into training its staff to show consumers how to prepare specialty food. The consumers are trained by world-renowned chefs, Local celebrities, other food experts, and even Kathy, founder of the Gourmet foods to attend exclusive and upscale invents for the sole purpose of increasing customers purchase rate and to increase time in the store. Kudler believes that consumers will increase revenue as well as increase frequency visits at the store. The firm would prefer having the in-store events, but Kudler encourages cooking classes at consumers’ homes for a price premium. Kudler has also engaged in a strategy to provide high value incentives through a partnership with a loyalty points program. The company will track purchase behavior at the individual customer level. Points earned by customers can be redeemed for high end items like airline first class upgrades, or other specialty foods. In order to increase efficiency, Kudler focused on internal processes on how to improve and deliver increase value to the customers. From a service perception, Kudler is targeting Nordstrom department store. Kudler is also developing employee training program and incorporating new software system to ease the effort.

Legal: Anne Shousha is the legal counsel for Kudler Fine Foods. Anne is a successful tax attorney, and a sister in-law of Kathy Kudler, founder of Kudler Fine Foods. Each store manager is at liberty to report legal issues to Kathy order than a slip and fall accident. Kathy will decide whether to ask Anne’s advise once an issue is reported to her.
