Accounting/Finance Intern Job Description – Financial Compliance

CPG International is a manufacturer of market-leading brands of highly engineered building products for residential and commercial markets designed to replace wood, metal and other traditional materials in a variety of construction applications. The Company’s products are marketed under several brands including AZEK® Trim, AZEK® Deck, AZEK® Moulding, Santana Products, Comtec Industries, Capitol, EverTuff™, TuffTec™, Hiny Hider® ,Celtec® VAST and TimberTech, as well as many other branded products.

The Intern will perform staff level internal audit work and assist in conducting Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) related projects. Job responsibilities will include identifying issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing data, evaluating information and systems and drawing logical conclusions. Additional duties will include creating and updating corporate policies (based on global “best practices”), developing/administering surveys, composing summary memos, and communicating results via written reports and oral presentations to management.

Interns will be required to apply internal audit and accounting principles and have knowledge of management information systems terminology, concepts and practices.

Our objective is to introduce the student to the typical work environment in roles that will broaden their perspective and challenge their intellect as it relates to “real world” situations.
