WBS for Remodeling the Master Bathroom

A work breakdown structure (WBS) “is a view into the project which shows what work the project encompasses” (Piscopo, 2013, para. 1). Whether a project is personal or professional a WBS helps to develop a schedule and define what needs to be done to get the project completed. In the following WBS for a bathroom remodel, there are three levels. The first level defines what the work breakdown structure is for, while the second level breaks down the “high-level work that serve as the basic components of a project,” (Barkley, 2006, p. 51). The third level will breakdown each summary task into subtasks with the assigned resource that is responsible for completing that task (Barkley, 2006).
