The Apple Inc. formerly known as Apple Computer, Inc., is an international company that manufactures electronics, computers hardware and software. The corporation was founded by two scientists, namely; Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak on April 1, 1976. The first release product from the company was Apple I which led to the opening of two brother branches in California and Cupertino in January, 1977. The company capitalized in the manufacture of computers, which widely included the Apple II and the Macintosh. The two lines faced a low market demand and the sales were increasingly low during the year 1990. This happened when Jobs was not with the company since the year 1985. He returned to the company in the year 1996 and became the interim CEO and later became the permanent CEO. He brought with him a philosophy of change and new products like the iMac in 1998 among others (Merchant, 2010).

Social and Ethical responsibilities

Apple Inc maintains a tight security of information dispensed in or out of the corporation. It is the most aggressive company in the information industry and technology that strives to keep the corporate issues safe and does not entertain any company imitating their products or even the obvious, simple ideas that may pertain to their products. It keeps the copyrights of any product that originates from their designs. The moral philosophy is to help establish the root of good from bad and insist on the copyright with the company logo, which is an apple bit on one side created by Rob Janoff in 1977 with the rainbow colors until 1988.
