Employment Interests and Goals

In order to find a right job, I must know what my interest is, and what kind of job I prefer. To determine my personal interest in really important for me to choose the career path. Therefore, I will define my interests and goals in the following paragraphs.

Passionate about Math. I like math when I was child. To be honest, the math is the easiest subject when I study in the college. I never spent too much time to review the math before I take the exam. I really enjoy solving the difficult math problem even if it will take me several hours to find the right answer. That is the reason why I chose to major in Accounting because accountant needs a lot of mathematic knowledge.

Enjoy Working with Numbers. Accounting is a stressful job because most accountants have long working hours to deal with numbers. If people do not working with number, accountant will not be a right career for you. Obvious, the major task of accountant is producing financial statement, analyzing the estimate and so on. Everything is about numbers. As I mentioned in last paragraph, I like math, and I have patient on dealing with the complex numbers.

To Become My Own Boss. I will have my own business if I have enough experience. There are many advantages to become your own boss; for example, flexible working hours, earn more money, and so on. However, entrepreneurship is likely to fail, so I must be a risk taker. As I said that I should have more working experience before I start my business. To be a good entrepreneur, I should prepare myself, and make a detailed plan. Therefore, I would better work with someone for several years, and then I can start my business when I am ready.

Rather Work for a Large Company. There are many disadvantages and advantages to work for a large company. To work for a large company, I am clear that I must deal with the complex working relationship, and know how to get along with the bosses and colleagues, which might influence...
