Ethics in Social Psychology Research

When most people think of ethics or morals they think of determining what is right and wrong. Like say a doctor with the Hippocratic Oath “First of all, do no harm.” Then some may look at the 10 Commandments and pattern morals and ethics from that or from others things being religious or otherwise. Objectivity, work hard to avoid bias in your research and disclose things that could affect the outcome of your research. Integrity is important in research because it goes to show your character and if it is good people will trust your findings and take you serious.
