Executive Summary

United Arab Emirates is one of the developed countries in the world, where the main industry of this country is oil. The content of this paper is about the explanation of United Arab Emirates’ trading that contains five chapters. In the first chapter, the content is about the overview of the United Arab Emirates which is contain of the size of the GDP and GDP per capita in the United Arab Emirates, the economic growth of the United Arab Emirates, the inflation in the United Arab Emirates, unemployment rate, population rate, export and import activities in the United Arab Emirates, and balance of payment. The second part is about the business regulation in the United Arab Emirates which contains about government regulation in term of fiscal and monetary policy, how to open the business in the United Arab Emirates, taxes, political condition and geographical condition in the United Arab Emirates, regulatory improvement in terms of WTO, trading over borders, and corruption and bribe in the United Arab Emirates. Then chapter three is explain about trade liberalization in the United Arab Emirates which contain about the free trade that the United Arab Emirates involved, preferential trading agreement, the benefit of moving free trade, comparative advantage, local content requirement in the United Arab Emirates, and investor and shareholder protection in the United Arab Emirates. Next is chapter four that explain about starting a new business for domestic and foreign company in United Arab Emirates and the contain is about the main stage of starting a business (procedure), national and infant industry, reciprocal, and banking and financial sectors.
