Thank you for the opportunity to assess your sales data in order to provide recommendations for increasing your sales. The analysis and recommendations below are based on the data you provided, which covers a period from May 2004 through June 2006. The analysis below is based on this data alone. Therefore, our recommendations should be tempered by your knowledge of business realities and your market. Please let us know if we can answer any questions concerning the analysis or the recommendations provided.

ANALYSIS 1.

Sales and Revenue Performance By Country

The first analysis was to review both Sales and Revenue Performances by Country. This data was analyzed based off of total figures spanning all dates that were given to me. Sales have been too inconsistent on a yearly/quarterly basis to break down the figures any more. So this analysis will look more as a year-to-date sampling. What we are trying to do here is look at any trends to see why sales are increase or decreasing and how we can increase total sales while at the same time increase revenue.

As I reviewed the data in all countries reported I found it to be that the USA is the leading country in all sales as well as total revenue generated. The next highest was Germany followed close by Austria and Brazil. One can come to the conclusion that this is to be expected considering these are the larger of the markets regarding specialty foods.

Since the top countries discovered where of no surprise, I wanted to highlight the bottom 10 countries in Sales and Revenue. Fig. 1.1 will show that the least productive countries to date has been Poland, Norway, Argentina and Portugal.

What did stand out for was the gap that Italy as well as Finland had when comparing their total sales and total revenue. Looking at Fig 1.1 again, Italy had total sales of 822 while only having a total Revenue...
