Interpretations of Dreams

Dreams have grabbed the attention of many philosophers, psychologist, artists, and writers for thousands of years. Surprisingly, it has only been fairly early in history that researchers have begun to scientifically study the process of dreaming. Dreams both conceptually and theoretically intrigues many people to understand how it works. Although many people are at a disagreement of how exactly dreams are really interpreted, this touchy subject still remains an interest for psychologists and anyone who wonders about the understand of dreams.

According to Athanasios Totlis, " dreams happen automatically in sleep to help us release unresolved frustration energy and emotional dilemmas left over from the day before." In this sense dreams are more or so made by the outcome the body and stress level that someone attains throughout their day. To fully understand how dreams work with his theory one must understand that human beings release energy and one way to exude it is by dreaming.

Countless scientist today have done many studies to fully try to attain the effects of dreams and the importance of them. There has been a development called the "Selective Mood Regulatory of Dreams and Sleep" meaning the more you sleep the better you will feel when waking up (Kramer). According to Roger Lohmann, " dreams deemed true have motivated hunting expeditions, medical treatments, and religious conversion." in contrast many dreams can affect the behavior that human exude. This goes along with Dr. Kramers theory that dreams will indefinitely affect the body when woken. Although contrary to their studies dreams are different and personalized in way that isn't common.
