United States Appellate Courts

Every court in the United States is important and serves its purpose. There are many courts that have different responsibilities such as; The United States Appellate Courts also known as the United States Court of Appeals. The appellate courts review cases from federal district courts that are brought to the attention of The United States Appellate Courts. The appellate courts have the jurisdiction to review all cases that are finalized through the district courts. The United States Appellate Courts do not need to review a case if they do not see it necessary or if they agree with the decision of the federal district judge. If the appellate courts do see that a case needs to be reviewed then they will order the lower courts to review or retry the case. (Pearson Media)

Dual Court System

The dual court system is the courts that are included at state and federal levels. The dual courts are implemented to separate the duties as well as the functions of all jurisdictions and laws. The federal courts consist of the United States Supreme Court which stands as the umbrella for The United States appellate Courts, United States Appellate Courts for the Federal Circuit, and the United States Military Court of Appeals. State courts consist of the State Supreme Court which is the umbrella for Intermediate Appellate Courts, Trial Courts of General Jurisdiction, Probate Courts, and Trial Courts of Limited Jurisdiction.(Pearson Media)
