It is a great honour to stand before you all to say few encouraging words on scouting.

The Head Teacher, Management, Staff, Parents, Invited Guests, Students and Scout.

The aim of the scout is to encourage the physical, mental and spiritual development of boys scouts.

A scout always thinks of others before himself and does a good turn every day.

The promise which is said by all scouts has a lot of morals like duty to God, attend worship, love and serve one other, duty in the community, loyalty to one’s country and helping other people

The scout motto is clear when viewed, regarding the fact that camp which brings participants together from different environment and cultural backgrounds, would enable you to do your best in understanding and promoting the important values of goodwill, and mutual respects.

An important goal of this movement is to help make good citizens, physically strong, mentally awake and morally upright.

Good to see the youths of today are involved in a programme which brings discipline and which leads to future leader scout.

To conclude I would like to thank you all for making an effort to be at this camp.

I am aware that you all have put in a lot of time, effort and finance in preparation for the occasion. Therefore I urge you to make the best out of it.

I would like to record my appreciation to the organizers of this camp for their dedication and contribution. Not forgetting the hardworking school management for providing the school for this camp, the parents and ministry of education.

I wish you all a successfully and enjoyable camp.
