Entrepreneurs are born and made

According to the Meriam-Webster dictionary, Entrepreneur is the one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risk of a business or enterprise. Many believed that an entrepreneur must possess traits such as passion, drive, vision and discipline which are innate and cannot be taught. On the other hand, entrepreneurs must also have the skills, ability to seek and make use of opportunities, and motivates people, and operates his business effectively. Some may be a natural entrepreneur that puts up a business and learns from his experience or it can be the other way. When you trained long and hard, or take up some business courses. But I believe that they can be both as long as you have dream, vision, purpose and mission, you can be successful. In this essay, I will explain how Opportunities, Human creativity, and Marketing should be used in becoming a successful entrepreneur, by nurture and nature. It will enhance your knowledge on how important an opportunity is to every businessman out there and its role to the business. Also, the essay will teach us how Human Creativity will change the market by becoming different from the rest through innovation. And lastly, it will change our perspective on how we see marketing as it is, and how should it be used in our business. The said topics will be discussed on the next paragraphs.

There is a saying that “Opportunity knocks”. Well, as an entrepreneur, we do not wait for opportunity to knock, we build it. According to the Oxford dictionary (1991), an opportunity is defined as a “favorable occasion, good chance of doing”. In their article, Towards an Understanding of Opportunity, Bev Hulbert, Reva Berman Brown, and Sophie Adams said that “Business opportunity is the chance to meet an unsatisfied need where there is sufficient demand to make meeting that need worthwhile.” Simply, an opportunity must have that “need” that should be fulfilled to meet the demands of the consumers.
